DEDICATED TO THE BRETHREN OF LODGE GREENOCK ST. JOHN'S"
Melody: "God Bless The Prince of Wales"
What though a hundred years have fled
Since our Saint John's arose
From friendships ever sacred sea
A haven of repose;
From day to day, from year to year
In strength we've seen it grow
-
Our Lodge that first beheld the light
A hundred years ago.
Let fashion lure the giddy moths
Who love its gaudy glare
To loved Saint John's our hearts shall turn,
And seek true pleasure there;
We know no strife, we fear no foe
When gathered round its board,
But taste thereat the chiefest joys
That life's few years afford,
From day to day, from year to year
In strength we've seen it grow
-
Our Lodge that first beheld the light
A hundred years ago.
Let love and friendhip still combine
As in the days of yore,
And over our Saint John's still shed
Glad sunshine everymore;
Good fellowship shall welcome mirth
And true fraternal glee,
While past and present hail the light
So dear to Masonry!
From day to day, from year to year
In strength we've seen it grow
