On Saturday 28th March 2026 a party of twenty-nine Brethren from Lodge Greenock St. John's No. 175 enjoyed a most successful and enlightening visit to the historic Rosslyn Chapel.
On arrival, the Brethren were divided into two groups and treated to a highly instructive and engaging tour of the Chapel by Bros. Alec Coghlan and Geoff Spence. Their expert knowledge provided valuable insight into the rich symbolism and remarkable craftmanship displayed throughout the building, both internally and externally.
Following an absorbing three-hour tour, the party retired to nearby Lodge Rosslyn St. Clair No. 606, where a buffet lunch and refreshments were enjoyed in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
Upon returning to Greenock, the day was fittingly concluded with a further hour spent in harmony within the Lodge.
Sincere thanks are extended to WJW Bro. Robert Johnstone for the excellent organisation of the day's events. This outing is hoped to be the first of several similar visits currently under consideration.
